its inception in 1980 with three small boys, Talmud Torah Magen Avot in the Holy City of Tsfat has spared
no effort in striving for the highest expression of a true Torah education.
Today, over 350 students from diverse backgrounds learn and play together.
Emphasis
on Derech Eretz and character development through regular contests and campaigns
designed to foster the personal refinement that is integral to a genuine education.
Highest educational
standards and commitment to academic excellence. In a recent nation-wide exam,
the top three results all emerged from Magen Avot.
A significant number of students
are orphaned or from broken homes. The Talmud Torah employs an outstanding
team of educators, psychologists and private tutors committed to transmitting
authentic Jewish education and values to the next generation.

nutritious lunch, prepared fresh on the premises.
The
Magen Avot Boys Choir regularly performs live onstage for the public, from a
repetoire of original and traditional music. Directed by gifted members of the
teaching faculty, the boys sing to standing room only audiences.
