Nachal Novea Mekor Chochma means "A Flowing Brook, Source of Wisdom" (Proverbs 18:4). It is also a reference to Rebbe Nachman of Breslev who said about himself that he was the flowing brook of wisdom for the world. This is the true secret of our mission here in Tsfat. The Institutions of Nachal Novea were founded in Rebbe Nachman's name in order to continue his work of bringing God's Wisdom and Light even further into the world until the coming of the Mashiach.

Any attainment of True Wisdom and Knowledge can come about only through proper channels that constrict the light so anyone can receive it. By functioning as a vibrant living Torah community in today's world, our institutions were established to provide a dynamic functioning structure to channel the light between heaven and earth.
