Rabbi Yitzchak Kenig of Tzefat To Speak in Flatbush This Week
Rabbi Yitzchak Kenig, shlita, one of the founders of the Tzefat Breslov community and Menahel of the Breslov Cheder, will be speaking this Tuesday evening, 25 Iyyar / May 19, at the home of Rabbi and Mrs. Aharon Grenadir, 721 East 7th St. (corner 18th Ave.) in the Kensington section of Brooklyn, beginning at 8:30 PM.
Topic: Shavuos and the Tikkun of Malkhus
(based on Torah 56 in Likkutei Moharan)
The themes of this lesson include revealed Malkhus (rulership) and hidden Malkhus; the tikkunim (spiritual reparations) of the Omer period; the mystical meaning of the mikveh of Shavuos; and the ultimate revelation of Hashem's Malkhus in this world.
Rabbi Grenadir will provide ongoing English translation and facilitate questions and answers after the shiur.

A Shabbos With Rabbi Peretz Auerbach of Jerusalem
A born and bred Brooklynite, Rabbi Peretz Auerbach made aliyah many years ago and learned from many masters until he became an accomplished scholar in all areas if Torah. Today he is one of the key figures in Breslov outreach. Rabbi Auerbach is presently working on a commentary on the Zohar in English, b'derekh avodah -- as related to spiritual practice, both in prayer, meditation, and the inner work of tikkun ha-middos / self-refinement. The Breslov Center and Congregation Sheves Achim / The Flatbush Minyan are honored to host him for this Shabbaton in Brooklyn on his spring trip to the US.
When: Shabbos Parshas Emor, May 8-9.
Times: Minchah Erev Shabbos 15 min. after candle-lighting. Shacharis beginning 9:00 AM.
Shabbos Minchah 7:40 PM, followed by a public Shaloshudes in the Shul.
Rabbi Auerbach will speak Friday night after the se'udah at the Fund home for a "desert tisch" open to the public; briefly on Shabbos day before Musaf; during the noon meal; and again during Shaloshudes.
Topic: "The Time-Space-Soul Continuum" -- with an additional group meditation related to this theme beginning 45 min. before Minchah.

Rabbi Avraham Greenbaum of Jerusalem Visits NY

Rabbi Avraham Greenbaum is an internationally-known teacher of Torah spirituality, Chassidut, Kabbalah, preventive healthcare, healing and environmental responsibility, and the author of over twenty-five books.
Born in Britain, Rabbi Greenbaum gained his MA in classics and social sciences at Cambridge University. As a Harkness Fellow, he studied at Harvard and Columbia, after which he spent four years as a BBC Radio news commentator and producer.
After two years of Torah study in Yeshiva in Britain, in 1980 Rabbi Greenbaum settled with his family in Jerusalem. In addition to his ground-breaking work as a translator of Breslov texts, he studied towards rabbinic ordination, which he received from Rabbi Meir Brandsdorfer of Jerusalem's Eda Charedis in 1988. He founded the Azamra Institute in 1986 with the mission of disseminating Torah teachings as widely as possible.
